3 Potatoes, cubed (Yukon Gold)
3 cups Water
3 tbsp Soy Sauce
1 tbsp Sugar
2 tbsp Corn syrup (Maple syrup would work)
2 tbsp Mirin

Korean Braised Potatoes Directions

  1. Peel 3 potatoes and cut them into bite-size pieces.
  2. Put 3 cups of water, 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 2 tablespoons of corn syrup, 2 tablespoons of mirin into a pan and put the potatoes in it.
  3. Put a lid on and boil it over HIGH HEAT for about 20 minutes. Stir it occasionally and check if they are fully cooked.

FYI, if you want to make it prettier, you can put some carrots, onions, or chili peppers in it.
