12 floz Warm Water (body temp)
3/4 tablespoon(s) Standard Yeast
1 tablespoon(s) Sugar
3 1/2 cup(s) Bread Flour (3-4 cups)
2 tablespoon(s) Olive Oil
2 teaspoon(s) Salt

Pizza Dough Directions

  1. Measure warm water in a glass measuring cup, add Yeast and Sugar. Stir lightly and let the yeast bloom while completing step 2
  2. Sift flour into a large bowl, then add Sugar, Oil and Yeast/Water mix.
  3. Combine and kneed into a dough
  4. Add a small amount of olive oil to the bowl and coat dough to prevent drying.
  5. Place bowl with dough in a warm spot until dough doubles in size
  6. Lightly kneed the dough and let stand for 10-15 minutes before shaping for a Pizza.
  7. Once shaped apply a light film of olive oil to the top
  8. Corn meal can be used to preven the dough from sticking to the pan.
