12 floz Warm Water (body temp) |
3/4 tablespoon(s) Standard Yeast |
1 tablespoon(s) Sugar |
3 1/2 cup(s) Bread Flour (3-4 cups) |
2 tablespoon(s) Olive Oil |
2 teaspoon(s) Salt |
Pizza Dough Directions
- Measure warm water in a glass measuring cup, add Yeast and Sugar. Stir lightly and let the yeast bloom while completing step 2
- Sift flour into a large bowl, then add Sugar, Oil and Yeast/Water mix.
- Combine and kneed into a dough
- Add a small amount of olive oil to the bowl and coat dough to prevent drying.
- Place bowl with dough in a warm spot until dough doubles in size
- Lightly kneed the dough and let stand for 10-15 minutes before shaping for a Pizza.
- Once shaped apply a light film of olive oil to the top
- Corn meal can be used to preven the dough from sticking to the pan.
